Gobble
Gobble is a word game based on lettered tiles. You win by "gobbling" all of the letters into valid words.
The letters appear inside a variety of shapes.
In the following shapes, a few words are shown highlighted:
QUIT, AGES, DOZE, BARN, HEX, WOOD, VINE, WOOL, RED. Notice that the words are found adjacently in all directions.
Playing the Game
Playing Gobble is a matter of:
- finding words within the shape displayed
- gobbling adjacent letters into a valid 3-7 letter word
- accepting the word
- gobbling all letters into words to win the game.
Gobbling Letters
As you spot a word start clicking on the adjacent letters. The word will start to appear in a Progress Box.
For instance, if you see the word "NAME", as you click on the adjacent letters N-A-M-E, the progress box will contain your letters...

However, not until the word is recognized as valid,
can you "gobble" it by clicking "Gobble Now" ...
|

The [Gobble Now] button will only be lit when a word is recognized as valid.
Click [Gobble Now] to accept the word and gain points.
Click [Undo] to reject your word.

The game starts with a set of letters inside a shape, for example a box.
Start by looking for words and click on adjacent letters.

Here we have formed the word "PEN" downwards. It appears in the Progress Box and is ready to be gobbled.

As the game progresses, less letters will be available. You may think you have found "USE" but ...

Click on any tile to display the word.

Tips
- Watch out for progressively longer words for example FAR, FARM, FARMER.
- Click [Undo] to reject the current word you are making.
- To restore a word that you've "gobbled", just click on any letter in the word and all letters in the entire word will be restored.
- Words may be in plural forms and all tenses.
- Words are all family-friendly.
- Compete to win a free game each month.
Options
The options menu gives you a variety of styles of play.
- Language: choose English words or a specific category
- Format: choose a format or number of letters
